The larger sizes take a 13 or 14 inch laptop. Where a piece has a padded sleeve, the description says so. Where it does not, use a sleeve of your own.

Which totes take a laptop?
The large and work models. Each piece lists the laptop size it was cut for. The mini totes are for a phone, a wallet and a paperback.
Can it be worn on the shoulder or only in the hand?
Both. The handles are cut long enough to clear a coat sleeve, and most of the larger totes come with a detachable crossbody strap.
Does a quilted tote stay upright on the floor?
Full, yes. Empty, it folds over. A quilted bag has no board in the base.
